Rosie With Her Family At Christmas

Rosie's family have always been fighters - it is in her blood. Her granddad was a proud publican and trade union activist, her father was a much-cherished headteacher in Coventry, and her mother taught her always to stand up for the truth. Her family has instilled good moral values into her.

Campaigning is at the heart of everything that Rosie does. Her dedication and determination have led to Rosie being elected on the City of Lincoln Council for Birchwood Ward, Lincoln since 2012, elected as County Councillor in 2013 for the same ward, and is the cabinet member for ‘Reducing Inequality’ on the City of Lincoln Council.

Rosie has been committed to putting Lincolnshire's safety first by leading the Council's anti-poverty strategy, community cohesion, anti-social behaviour, CCTV, and public protection reforms.

Rosie has also been a member of the Police Crime Panel and the Safer Lincolnshire Partnership. This, combined with her experience as being a County Councillor, has given her a deep understanding of the various issues that Lincolnshire residents face.

Her aspirations as Police Crime Commissioner are to secure the money Lincolnshire needs to have a Police Force ready to tackle the problems of the 21st century, as well as make sure there are visible community police on our streets.

Rosie will campaign for all of Lincolnshire

Rosie will stand up for Lincolnshire, especially coastal communities, which are the most deprived communities in England. She will also work hand in hand with our rural communities to restore faith in policing and make Lincolnshire safer.

Violent crime has increased, coastal crime is spiralling, and youth crime needs solutions - the Conservative government has failed Lincolnshire. Rosie will be willing to challenge Westminister and the County Council to work in the interests of public health and combating the root cause of crime, as well as dedicating herself to tackling the unfair treatment of Lincolnshire by the Conservative establishment. Rosie will fight for Lincolnshire's safety.
